Yom Ha’atzmaut

We went big at Brandeis today. Really big!
We were loud. Really loud!
It’s Israel’s 66th Birthday…HAPPY YOM HA’ATZMAUT!
The building was decorated in Israeli flags and blue and white balloons.
We had a parade and created a larger than human sized 66 in the backyard.
Israeli music was blaring (in a good way) and the kids were singing and dancing.
The building smelled like frying falafel (again, in a good way) and the kids completed a treasure hunt and played Yom Ha’atzmaut bingo.
The kids were also busy with arts and crafts and an Israeli sports game.
Everyone had an awesome time!
